You can order:
- A full birth, marriage/civil partnership or death certificate for £11.00 to be dispatched within 7 calendar days. Certificates will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd class delivery service.
- A short birth certificate for £11.00 to be dispatched within 7 calendar days. Please note this does not include details of the parents and not accepted by passport offices or other organisations. Certificates will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd class delivery service.
- An express copy of any certificate for £35 to be dispatched within 24 hours of receipt. Certificates will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class delivery service which aims to deliver on the next working day (including Saturdays) Please note this service is not available at weekends or on Bank Holidays.
All certificates must be paid for before we issue them.
All certificates may be collected in person from Gloucestershire Registration Service based within Gloucestershire Heritage Hub, Clarence Row, Alvin Street, Gloucester GL1 3DW
You will be contacted by the Copy Certificates Team when the certificate is ready for collection.
Please note: we only hold records for events which took place in Gloucestershire.
