You can order:
- A full birth, marriage/civil partnership or death certificate for £12.50 to be issued within 15 working days. Certificates will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd class post.
- A short birth certificate for £12.50 to be issued within 15 working days. Certificates will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd class post.
Please note this does not include details of the parents and not accepted by passport offices or other organisations.
- A priority service is available for any certificate for £38.50 to be issued on the next working day. Certificates will be sent via Royal Mail 1st class post.
Please note this service is not available at weekends or Bank Holidays.
All certificates must be paid for before we issue them. Gloucestershire Registration Service is not liable for any certificates that are delayed or lost in the post.
All certificates may be collected in person from Gloucestershire Registration Service based within Gloucestershire Heritage Hub, Clarence Row, Alvin Street, Gloucester GL1 3DW. You will be then contacted by the Copy Certificates Team when the certificate is ready for collection. Your certificate will be posted to the address on your application if not collected within 10 days of receiving your notification email.
